AUSTRALIAN KING AIR ARRIVES IN SRI LANKA
The Sri Lankan Air Force received A32-673 equipped with an ISR pod, while the Australian Army, in 2023, renewed its need for fixed-wing support fourteen years after transferring four Beechcraft 350 Super King Air aircraft. To meet this need, an EOI was issued to lease up to two single-engine aircraft capable of carrying small loads (under 10 passengers or 1,000 kg) with short takeoff and landing capabilities suitable for remote airfields in northern Australia. The aircraft should also support personnel, VIP transport, and cargo, including dangerous goods like small arms ammunition.
